PCPA - Come From Away
June 11 - 27, 2026
In the wake of tragedy, kindness took flight. An uplifting, Tony-award-winning musical based on a real story.
An average day in the isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland becomes a defining moment when 38 planes are suddenly grounded in the small town on September 11, 2001. The population of the remote Gander doubles overnight. But instead of panic, something remarkable happens. Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the locals throw open their homes, their bars, and their hearts—proving that compassion can outshine crisis. Based on the true story that moved the world, this Tony Award-winning musical pulses with a driving folk-rock score and unforgettable characters. Come From Away is a powerful, uplifting celebration of human kindness and the community we create when we welcome the unknown.

Believe Ranch & Rescue Annual Fundraiser
Attention Horse Lovers!
We want to personally invite our fellow SY Valley locals to learn more about our mission to save lives!
What we’ve built over the last 10 yrs and more recently with our move to Santa Ynez Valley isn’t just a rescue. It’s a place of healing, connection, and second chances — for the horses, and for the people who need it the most.
Together, with the support of our incredible community, we’ve saved over 400 horses from abuse, neglect, and the slaughter pipeline…
and we’ve helped heal over 1,000 humans through our equine-assisted programs — all offered completely free to those in need.
From first responders… to those facing mental health challenges… to cancer survivors, children with cancer and disabilities… our mission reaches far beyond what we ever imagined.
But the truth is — we can only save and serve as many lives as we have with financial support and resources to do so.
June 13th will be a very special ranch-style evening . A a chance to come together… to connect, to experience the magic of the horses… and for those who feel called, to give.
Every ticket, every donation, every auction bid goes directly back to the horses and these healing programs.
100% of proceeds support our rescue horses + healing programs
20 seats left ONLY
*Donations are fully tax deductible as a registered Gold Star 501c3 Non Profit charity .
If this speaks to your heart… we would love to have you with us.
PLEASE NOTE: All attendees MUST be 21 years of age

PCPA - Come From Away
June 11 - 27, 2026 - Final Performance!

Ocean Forests: Our Coastal Communities
Richard Salas, Eliot Spaulding, Laura Simonato, & Angelina LaPointe
January 24, 2026 - July 20, 2026
The California Nature Art Museum is delighted to share our forthcoming group exhibition Ocean Forests: Our Coastal Communities, celebrating the importance of kelp forests - one of California’s most ecologically productive and diverse ecosystems.
Giant kelp is the largest marine plant on earth, with each stalk growing up to 120 ft in length and weighing up to 700 lbs. With its ten-year lifespan, giant kelp is also one of the most ecologically productive organisms in the world, sequestering and removing at least 4 million tonnes of CO2 per year.
This show will include four celebrated artists and three different mediums - photography, block printing, and textile/weaving. Each artist tells their own unique story about the vibrancy and importance of life amongst giant kelp for the purpose of education, inspiration, and ocean advocacy.

Memory, Coffee & Compassion Support Group
Meets First & Third Mondays
May 4 & 18 - June 1 & 15 - July 6 & 20 - August 3 & 17
Attendance is complimentary
Caring for someone with memory loss can be hard, and it’s not always easy to know where to turn. That’s why I host Memory Coffee & Compassion gatherings—free, relaxed get-togethers where caregivers can share experiences, ask questions, and support one another.
Whether you’re caring for someone with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or another memory challenge, you don’t have to go through it alone. These groups are meant to give you a place to recharge, learn from others who understand, and feel encouraged in your caregiving journey.

Santa Ynez Valley Views by the Tuesday Painters showcases the energy and authenticity of paintings created directly in the heart of nature. The paintings in this show encompass many artistic styles and media, for each artist interprets the outdoors in their own unique way. Using oil, watercolor, gouache, pencil and/or pastel, the Tuesday Painters capture the sensory aliveness of our region, documenting its scenic beauty - from rolling hills, rivers, and lakes to picturesque vineyards.
Contributing artists include Lee Barranco, Susan Belloni, Deborah Breedon, Audrey Cavalier, Chris Chapman, William Dunaway, John Iwerks, Sally Jones, Renee Kelleher, Sheryl Knight, George Kreutz, Katy Smith, Barbara Young, and Margaret Youngblood.
The Tuesday Painters are a group of plein air artists, seasoned professionals, and enthusiastic amateurs who share an appreciation for the stunning natural landscapes of the Santa Ynez Valley. Inspired by a lifelong love of nature, these artists believe the beauty of nature comes in many forms, and that there is great benefit in nurturing, protecting, and celebrating it.
Most of the artwork included in this collection is available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting both the contributing artists and the California Nature Art Museum.

SYV Views at CA Nature Art Museum
Exhibit by The Tuesday Painters - April 24 - October 12, 2026
The Tuesday Painters are a group of passionate plein air artists painting the Santa Ynez Valley in a variety of media, including watercolor, oil, and acrylic paints, as well as dry media such as charcoal and pastel.

Live Fast Rally
Live Fast Rally was started in the Santa Ynez Valley by a group of friends. We are all hard working, professional, family men with a deep love of building and riding anything on two wheels.
The vision was a simple one, to throw an event in which people can come together and share their passion of motorcycles while enjoying a cold drink and good music. From this idea we have fostered many new relationships and found new friends.
Maybe the most profound is our connection with Band of Brothers, a local non-profit Veterans helping Veterans group. Live Fast Rally has been given the opportunity to give back to our community and Veterans through this group and we couldn’t be more proud in doing so.

Community Clayworks Throwdown
Adult courses guide and support students towards achieving their individual goals. While skills are taught and projects are suggested, students are encouraged to follow their interests. Clay must be purchased from the studio.
Children’s classes introduce clay skills and techniques through open ended projects. Students will be encouraged to play and discover ways to express themselves. All materials are included.
We’re excited to invite you to our first-ever Community Clayworks Throwdown!
In past years, we’ve hosted our own in-studio Ceramics Olympics—but this year, we’re changing things up. Instead of keeping it in-house, we’re teaming up with our friendly neighboring studios to the north for a collaborative throwdown. Think of it as a fun, spirited mashup of creativity, community, and just a touch of competition—very much inspired by The Great Pottery Throwdown.
Who’s invited?
All Community Clayworks members, staff and our currently enrolled students are warmly invited to participate, along with members and staff from The Pottery. It’s a great opportunity to meet and connect with fellow clay artists from across our extended ceramics community.
· Potluck Lunch: 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM
· Throwdown Challenges: 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM
What to expect:
We’ll have a mix of individual and team challenges in both wheel throwing and handbuilding, plus some fun prizes. Challenges will be revealed the day of—so come ready to think on your feet and get your hands dirty.
Veronica (Community Clayworks) and Kevin & Alecia (The Pottery) will be judging.
Cost: Free
What to bring: A potluck dish to share
Whether you want to compete or just cheer others on, we’d love to have you there. Please let us know if you’re interested in participating
