CHAMPIONS OF THE VALLEY
Honorees through the years
Celebrating the Spirit of Service
Honorees through the years
For 30 years, Champions of the Valley has shined a spotlight on the remarkable individuals whose generosity, leadership, and compassion strengthen the Santa Ynez Valley. These are the people who quietly give of their time, talents, and heart to make a lasting difference in the lives of others.
Hosted by the Santa Ynez Valley Foundation, Champions of the Valley is more than an awards program—it is a cherished community tradition that celebrates selfless service and the power of volunteerism.
Champions are nominated by community members and selected by a panel of past honorees and Foundation board members.
Each Adult Champion receives a $1,000 grant from the Foundation to direct to the nonprofit organization of their choice, extending the impact of their service and generosity.
Youth Champions (grades 9–12) are awarded a $1,000 scholarship to support their educational goals and encourage a lifelong commitment to community involvement.
