Our featured speaker next month is Santa Ynez Chumash community member and multidisciplinary artist Raymond Ventura Sr.

Raymond is a full-time ceramicist, blending aspects of Chumash culture into each of his pieces. In addition to ceramics, he handmakes custom jewelry, creates Chumash-inspired paintings, and practices the ancient art of flintknapping.

For this free after-hours event, Raymond will reflect on his artistic journey, the inspiration that surrounds him, and what he is working on next. Attendees will also be able to enjoy free museum admission to the Permanent Exhibit, Temporary Exhibit, and Cultural Park.
