⁠CANCELED: Coastal Cleanup Day at the Santa Ynez River

Coastal Cleanup Day at the Santa Ynez River has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances outside of the museum's control. If you are still interested in participating in Coastal Cleanup Day 2026, the closest alternative sites are Refugio State Beach, El Capitan State Beach, and Jalama Beach. 

 We are deeply sorry for the cancellation, and look forward to hosting you next year!

Become part of the solution to ocean pollution at the 42nd Annual Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 19. ⁠

The largest volunteer effort in California, Coastal Cleanup Day is a community-based opportunity to give back to the ocean, beaches, rivers, and creeks.

The CalNAM team will be meeting at the bridge on Alisal Road in Solvang (coordinates: 34.5846642, -120.1446122).
