The Vikings of Solvang invite the Santa Ynez Valley community to gather at Solvang Park this Saturday, July 11, at 12:00 p.m. to rally behind the Norwegian Soccer Team and cheer them on to victory!
Members of the Vikings and their ship’s crew will take part in a traditional “rowing” demonstration, synchronized to the beat of a live drum. With media expected to be in attendance, including KEYT and international Norwegian news channels, this is a special opportunity to show the world Solvang’s support.
Wear your red jersey or shirt and help create a massive “Sea of Red” celebration! Traditional Viking apparel is also highly encouraged.
