Join artists Staci Curry and Veronica Medina for an exclusive glimpse into the making of the Poppy Project Mosaic! You’re invited to step into the studio at Community Clayworks and witness the progress of this exciting endeavor funded by the Arts and Culture Department of the City of Buellton.
Curry and Medina have received funding to install a stunning 120 square foot tile mosaic on Buellton’s post office exterior wall. Handmade tiles by the artists will culminate in a retro depiction of California Poppies, standing an impressive 10 feet tall.
Currently in the process of cutting clay to craft these tiles, the artists eagerly invite the public to witness their creative journey and learn more about the project on April 28th. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet the artists, explore their process, and engage with the local arts scene.
