The Kiss is a romantic drama set in 1913 Denmark on the brink of World War I, following noble cavalry officer Anton as he meets and forms a bond with Edith, the beautiful, wheelchair-bound daughter of a local Baron. After helping the Baron, Anton is invited to the family's castle, where he and Edith grow close. As Edith falls in love, Anton wrestles with whether his feelings are genuine or driven by pity. Their relationship unfolds under the looming shadow of war, raising questions of love, honor, and emotional truth.
