Buellton Strings Project Performance

The Buellton Strings Project, a brand-new beginning strings program,
will be presenting a free community performance on Tuesday, May 6, at 5:30 p.m.,
at the new Buellton Library, at 202 Dairyland Rd.

The program, funded by a City of Buellton Arts & Culture grant, features young violinists and cellists as part of a new outreach program by Santa Barbara Strings, a nonprofit music education organization founded by local violinist Mary Beth Woodruff.

Santa Barbara Strings offers youth ages 5-19 an opportunity to play in one of three tiers of string orchestras, learning great classical works, as well as how to listen and play in a group setting.

In addition, there are opportunities to perform in smaller Chamber Music ensembles.

For more information check out www.santabarbarastrings.org or call Kyle Abello at (805)350-8921.

Location: The New Buellton Library, at 202 Dairyland Rd
