One805 Fall Concert

One805 is thrilled to announce the 2024 One805LIVE! concert supporting Santa Barbara’s First Responders. One of our hometown favorites, KennyLoggins will have his first performance since last year’s final tour on September 20th, 2024! The benefit will once again be hosted by Academy Award winner Kevin Costner at his oceanside estate. Additional artists will soon be announced!

Kenny Loggins has sold more than 25 million albums and has won two Grammy Awards. In addition to his string of successful recordings, both solo and as a member of the famed duo Loggins & Messina, Loggins was the first major rock star to dedicate himself to recording music for children and families. Kenny's remarkable career also garnered him the nickname of “The King of Soundtracks” for his work with Footloose, Top Gun and Caddyshack. Kenny has rocked stages worldwide, and now he has generously agreed to support Santa Barbara’s First Responders by performing at One805LIVE! 2024.

In recognition of his extraordinary and constant philanthropic work in Santa Barbara County, One805 has chosen to honor Kenny Loggins as a recipient of this years “Heart of the Community Award”. He will receive the award on-stage at the concert. Prior recipients have included Kevin Costner, and founding board member @AlanParsons.

We are also delighted to announce that the legendary Grammy Award winning Alan Parsons O.B.E has again agreed to support our First Responders, both by performing and by serving as this year’s Music Director. Alan Parsons’ storied career includes his amazing success working with the Beatles at Abbey Road; engineering Dark Side Of The Moon for Pink Floyd; and founding The Alan Parsons Project.

All tickets go on sale June 1st at One805.org. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements to come!

As always, proceeds will support Santa Barbara County First Responders including mental health wellness and much needed equipment.

This September marks the 50th Anniversary of the SYV Family School and we’re ready to CELEBRATE.

The founding families came together in 1974 with a vision for a school that honors the individual voices of its students, and where play is at the center of developing minds and hearts. We owe the foundation of our vision and mission to those early families, and also to YOU, our valued alumni families, as you played a part in carrying that legacy forward during your time with us.

It is for this reason that we cordially invite you to the school’s largest “family reunion” as we kick off the celebration year with Bounty of the Valley on Saturday, September 28th, 2024.

Join 50 years of alumni and beloved staff and faculty on the Family School campus for dinner, dancing and a rousing live auction. TICKETS are on sale on our website.

Calling all intrepid adventurers! Join us on a quest to a hidden shire nestled within the heart of Santa Ynez. Prepare to embark on a Dungeons & Dragons adventure that transcends imagination, guided by the Whiskered Warlock, Dungeon Master Tim Morgan.

Gather 'round a colossal, weathered table beneath the sprawling canopy of an ancient oak tree, its gnarled branches whispering tales of ages long past. Here, savor the finest Elvish wines and Halfling Ales, all locally sourced and generously poured.

Your epic journey culminates at the legendary Murder of Crows Tavern, a realm where the boundaries between reality and fantasy meld into one. Here, you shall partake in a Dungeons & Dragons-themed culinary experience like no other.

The day's schedule unfolds as follows:

3 pm – 4 pm: Character creation – indulge in wine, ale, and mead.

4 pm – 7 pm: The adventure unfolds, fueled by iron rations to sustain stalwart adventurers.

7 pm: The adventurer's feast is served, a family-style celebration of a successful quest where tales, both great and bold, shall be shared.

This extraordinary adventure unfolds in the great outdoors. While the weather may turn chilly, rest assured, we will have ample Dwarvish fire pits to keep you warm. In case of rain or strong winds, adventurers will find refuge within the dining hall, where a fireplace shall provide warmth and comfort.
